Obtained a bachelor’s degree (2013), master’s degree (2015), and degree of Doctor of Philosophy (2022) in mechanical engineering at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) in South Korea. Main interests are the micro-electro-mechanical system (MEMS) vibration and electroacoustic devices including capacitive MEMS microphone, piezoelectric underwater micro-machined cantilever vector sensor, piezoelectric micro-machined ultrasonic transducer (pMUT). Experience the entire process of the MEMS microphone development from design to fabrication, and performance measurement. Theoretical background is based on the mechanical vibrations, acoustics, and relevant analog circuits. Being able to design the acoustic/vibration transducer based on analysis using an equivalent circuit model as well as finite element method (FEM) simulation. Familiarity with SPICE program (e.g., LTSPICE, HSPICE) and finite element method program (e.g., COMSOL Multiphysics). Also, having hands-on experience on MEMS fabrication including photolithography, thin film deposition, dry/wet etching, wafer bonding, dicing. Ability to design (Schematic, PCB layout) and operate the readout circuit. Experiment skills are related to test the acoustic transducer; skilled in many lab-equipment such as impedance analyzer, spectrum analyzer, laser Doppler vibrometer, reference microphones.
