Juris Klonovs is a founder, CEO and CTO of SIA BirgerMind.His passion is developing non-invasive Brain-Computer Interfaces (BCIs) enabling fully paralyzed patients to communicate independently. Throughout the years Juris have been creating numerous complex IT systems with cluster infrastructure for automating various tedious tasks for the sake of human safety and comfort. Juris has an extensive experience in technical coordination of various EU and national research and development projects.Besides his engineering and developing works, he is a consultant and an invited speaker, he has been teaching and mentoring bachelor, master and PhD level students at Aalborg University Copenhagen in Denmark, Ventspils University of Applied Science in Latvia, The University of Verona in Italy, as well as National Research Council of Italy. He is a main author of the MedTech book «Distributed Computing and Monitoring Technologies for Older Patients» in press – 2016, SpringerBriefs in Computer Science, Springer Publishing Company, as well as an author of numerous scientific research papers.He is a proud member of the prestigious and World-changing EIT Health Alumni Network community and a member of IEEE – The world’s largest technical professional organization for the advancement of technology. He is a recognized reviewer of IEEE, Springer and Elsevier scientific journals, for example, «Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence».
