Jurre van Gool was manager at Deloitte Consulting. He was part of the Data & Analytics Modernization team of the Analytics & Cognitive offering of Deloitte Netherlands. Jurre has several years of hands-on experience in the realization of data platforms and analytics products. Jurre specialized in the organizational transformation that is needed for organizations to become more data-driven. Becoming data-driven is about more than just data and technology, it also requires a clear strategy, the right combinations of skilled people, the proper processes, and clear governance. Jurre is able to oversee the broader picture, guiding stakeholders (from C-level to operational level) through this organizational transformation.Next to his project work Jurre has a broad interest and set of skills. He led both the strategy and innovation teams of the offering, was coach for multiple coachees within Deloitte, was counselor for the offering and was active in organizing of social events for colleagues.

Jurre was responsible for implementation of an innovative and large scale (~500 pharmacies) project regarding consults for pulmonary patients. The project was focused on using technology to log processes and patient outcomes through an user front-end. This IT system was specially developed for the project and allows for quick data extraction and data enrichment with the large scale medication distribution database to produce high value datasets for reporting. Outcomes were used to improve patient outcomes, in cooperation with health care insurers.

Jurre was responsible for the development and innovation of client-based care solutions. These range from technologies that led to an effective pharmacological portfolio, improved treatment adherence, integrated care and providing of central care services to patients. Jurre was responsible for the design and implementation of newly developed processes, systems and methods in the Mediq pharmacies.Another responsibility is reporting and analytics. Jurre was responsible for the development of several automated reports which were used in the analysis of patient populations. Activities in this project ranged from database structuring, data analysis, reporting using Cognos BI and dashboarding for internal clients.Jurre was focused on the quality of pharmaceutical care from a broader perspective. What is the definition of quality, how is it quantified and in what way can Mediq comply to the quality standards set by the health insurers? The most important question was: "How do we use our data and business insights to improve the pharmaceutical patient care in our pharmacies?"
