A Bay Area native, currently in NYC with a degree in Media and Communication from NYU, pursuing a career in marketing and partnerships!The best way for me to describe myself is as a storyteller. Storytelling is my guiding compass. From passions like dance and videography to professional career interests in marketing and partnerships; storytelling always remains a constant. In my first Internship at the ScreenCrush YouTube channel, I edited coherent 20 min stories for millions of subscribers on YouTube focusing on long-form content and audience retention. Next at NBCUniversal for the SYFY/OXY creative marketing team, I focused on how I could position myself as a fan to write unique stories/scripts in promotion of Chucky S2. Then at Impact.com, a software company and agency, I facilitated dozens of influencers' stories for a brand(s) campaign, making sure each influencer's content was on brand for the client, yet still unique to that influencer. After Impact.com I went even smaller smaller to a company called Omsom, a CPG startup specializing in Asian sauces and noodles. There I had the creative freedom to blend my own life with the brand of the company. At such a small start-up, I was able to tell stories via Social Media Marketing about my experience as a Chinese American in connection to the Omsom Asian brand. Now I’m working full-time at Grapevine.ai as a Creator Operations Analyst. I source, hire, and manage over 600+ creators for paid-social campaigns with top brands. While each of my roles thus far have been unique, I always follow my mission of great storytelling with each position. Outside of my immediate career, I'm a freelance video editor/producer, photographer, and dance choreographer/director. In my free time, I'm always catching up on the latest movies/shows and rating them on Letterboxd.
