-Responsible for implementing the Bird/wildlife Aircraft Strike Hazard (BASH) program at the NASA/GSFC/Wallops Flight Facility (WFF)-Monitors wildlife behavior and abundance on WFF and surrounding properties-Collects data for formal Wildlife Hazard Assessments-Identifies wildlife damage and implements appropriate corrective actions-Utilizes methods including but not limited to habitat modification, harassment/hazing, chemical application, trapping, and lethal removal to reduce the hazards that wildlife pose to health and safety within the airport environment-Creates and distributes wildlife hazard informational documents for the Navy and Air Force-Assist local and federal agencies in the protection of threatened and endangered shorebird species

-Implemented and revised the Wildlife Hazard Management Plan for the University Park Airport (UNV)-Conducted surveys-Monitored wildlife activity-Collected data for Wildlife Hazard Assessments on the airfield and surrounding areas-Identified wildlife damage and applied corrective measures to reduce or eliminate wildlife hazards-Collaborated with airport personnel to identify areas of concern as it applied to wildlife damage-Led the annual Part 139 trainings for airport personnel and the annual Wildlife Hazard Management Working Group Meeting-Utilized an Integrated Wildlife Damage Management Plan (IWDMP) to reduce bird strike hazards. Methods included but were not limited to habitat modification, harassment/hazing, chemical applications, trapping, nest removal, and lethal removal-Submitted state and federal permit applications and renewals on behalf of UNV-Created personalized IWDMPs for various groups including project leaders; private landowners; city, township, and borough officials; businesses, universities, farms, and others-Developed Plans of Action, financial planners, and Cooperative Service Agreements for new cooperators and cooperators wishing to renew services
