My role includes managing all inventory receiving, ordering and shipment processes for our facility. Providing best practice knowledge to our buying/planning team for budget and service goal success and compiling, analyzing and reporting our sales and operational plans to our executive group monthly.

I'm responsible for creating a prioritized finished goods master production schedule (MPS), ordering raw materials to support the MPS using MRP and kanban signals, establishing and maintaining finished good inventory levels (in multiple warehouses) that meet turns and fill rate objectives, communicating information between customer service, engineering, production and management to multiple work cells and departments, coordinating production projects between multiple facilities for new products.

I was responsible for maintaining raw and finished goods inventory levels, planning production runs with a modified TOPIX card and heijunka box system, planning custom made-to-order projects, sourcing made-to-order suppliers, inventory accounting transactions, creating and maintaining purchase orders, resolving purchase price variances, handling customer service and supplier issues across work cells and departments.
