I have over five years of valuable experience in various trust and safety roles on several different platforms. I am very passionate about protecting and empowering online communities on a global scale. I currently work l time as a full time Trust and Consumer Support Consultant 2 at LinkedIn, where I collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex abuse and fraud cases, escalate high-risk issues, and provide feedback and recommendations to improve policies and processes. Previously, I was a Job Abuse Associate contracted to LinkedIn via Cypress HCM for 7 months, where I worked with the Jobs Abuse Team reviewing abusive behavior concerning jobs posting policies, focused on fraudulent jobs and protection of personal information. Prior to that I was a full time Trust and Safety Representative/Content Moderator at Patreon for over 2 years. At Patreon I worked with a team that handled user reports, enforced guidelines, and supported content creators and patrons, helping to ensure the safety of children. I also worked with Patreon's legal team on implementing and enforcing DMCA policies and regulations and copyright infringement. I also have experience with credit card fraud recovery and prevention, and international privacy policies. In 2019, I obtained a BA in Political Science and Government from Southern New Hampshire University and I am a proud member of the National Society of Leadership and Success. I am a published author of Nebraska state history and US Presidential political history. I have completed several hundred LinkedIn Learning courses and certifications on various topics like working remotely, thinking creatively, winning others' support, AI, cybersecurity, mental health and many other areas. I have strong communication and time management skills, as well as a keen interest in online safety for all and digital citizenship. I am eager to learn from and contribute to LinkedIn's mission of creating economic opportunity for every member of the global workforce.
