My career has taken me into the worlds of acting, directing, teaching artistry, and arts leadership.After studying musical theatre at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, I performed in theatres across the country, recurred on Comedy Central's Strangers With Candy, guest starred on NBC's Ed, won a Backstage Award for my one-man show QuarterlifeCrisis, and was directed by Robert DeNiro in The Good Shepherd among other wonderful opportunities. In 2008, I became Studio Director for the renowned Michael Howard Studios in New York City. In this capacity, I worked closely with world Shakespeare expert Patsy Rodenburg, leading me to associate produce her educational DVD series Shakespeare In The Present being released worldwide in universities and retail.I am the Director of Programs for Opening Act, was previously the Professional Development Specialist for Marquis Studios, and have been a Teaching Artist for New Victory Theatre, Disney Theatricals, and Opening Act NY. I also serve on the board for the NYC Arts In Education Roundtable.I hold a masters from NYU's Educational Theatre program, and I live in New York City with my husband and two children.
