I am a professional artist, illustrator and designer from Manchester and I have over 30 years experience working in the creative sector and across a range of media and high-profile projects. From my early days designing props and scenery for a range of television shows to becoming a graphic artist in the games industry and working on many best selling titles including FIFA for EA Sports. I have painted portraits for Eric Cantona, Noel Gallagher and Sir Bobby Charlton amongst many others and I have worked with many hotels including IHG, Arora, Travelodge and Malmaison on their branding and interior artwork.I am currently working on a huge mural design for a solo ocean-going boat based on the subject of mental health and 'hope'. My other ongoing creative jobs are with GCHQ, The National Museum of Computing and Sir Dermot Turing on a possible documentary surrounding the life of his uncle, Alan Turing and my painted multi-media portrait I am creating of him.

Working as a graphic designer, Trust Media Manager and Reprographics Manager I was in charge of a media team that handled all branding, marketing, photography, design, web and media output for three schools in a multi-academy trust in Manchester. I also became a school governor in 2010 and a Governing Body Director of The Trust in 2014 and I was part of the board who made key decisions during the transition from an authority run school to an Academy. I have a huge passion for education and inspiring young people to be the best they can using my creative skills and experience and I have been a part of mentoring workshops, careers talks and creative classes to enhance their learning experience throughout my time in school. I still work as a consultant designer when required for the schools and continue to oversee branding, literature output and any creative teaching material that can make a difference.

I was a graphic artist, designer, illustrator and background artist working across a range of formats including Playstation 1, Sega Megadrive, PC and Gameboy. I worked on multi-million pound game franchises such as FIFA and SPIDERMAN and I was Lead Background Artist on FIFA World Cup 2002 for EA Sports. I illustrated in game characters, built 3D Football stadiums and planned maps and front-end artwork whilst working on the the latest cutting edge technology and design packages.

I undertook a series of creative roles within the company from designing props on paper, illustrating concepts of theatre staging and making 3D props for use within the media industry. I created 3D models in clay and fibreglass for animation company Cosgrove Hall and hand-painted these for display within their reception and also at an exhibition in Liverpool. I created props for many ITV/Granada programmes including Coronation Street, Stars in their Eyes and This Morning and I was also involved in many of the creative productions at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester until the company sadly went into administration in 1992.
