I am a professional artist, illustrator and designer from Manchester, England and I have over 35?years experience working in the creative sector and across a range of media and high-profile projects. From my early days designing props and scenery for a range of television shows including Coronation Street to becoming a graphic artist in the games industry and working on many best selling titles including FIFA for EA Sports. I worked as an artist and lead artist on many number one games during 12 successful years in the industry and as a result of conducting careers talks and mentoring sessions in a range of schools I decided to give more time into educating the next generation with my experience.I have over 17 years experience working in the education sector as a Trust Media Manager and I have a real passion for making a difference to young peoples lives and inspiring them with my artwork and finding new ways of approaching learning and wellbeing creatively. I was an active school governor for 12 years and a director of The Education Leadership Trust across three school academies in Manchester. I have been fortunate enough to paint portraits for Emma Raducanu, Noel Gallagher and Sir Bobby Charlton amongst many others. My portrait of Marcus Rashford captured in timelapse form was shared socially by Manchester United, recognised by the player himself and seen by millions across the world as it went viral. I have worked with a wide range of hotel groups including IHG, Arora, Travelodge, Bespoke Hotels and Malmaison on their branding and interior artwork. I am passionate about creating artwork to provoke conversation and fit the location and environment where it is situated. I have created ‘one-off’ artwork for a series of charity events and helped to raise £160K in the last 2 years alone for community projects and charities including Tackle4MCR, NSPCC, The Lord Mayor’s Charity, Destination Florida and Prevent Breast Cancer. I have worked with The National Museum of Computing, GCHQ and The National Archive at Kew on various creative projects and most notably I designed the artwork for an ocean going solo rowing boat ‘The Boat of Hope’ which crossed the Atlantic in 2023 and raised over £100K for mental health charities. During lockdown I ran a series of free lockdown art classes online which were viewed by up to 2000 people each week from as far away as Australia and Africa! If you would like to work with me on a creative project, private commission or charitable piece then please get in touch.
