System Engineer
CurrentAs the leading system engineer of the Island-wide outdoor video surveillance system project, I held a critical role in delivering this high-impact project. My responsibilites include:• Spearheading the technical planning and execution of surveillance system across multiple sites ensuring compliance with client and government standards.• Facilitating technical discussions with client as well as with product vendors to derive successful integration of the components into the system.• Overseeing the development and review of essential technical documentation, inclusive of system design, installation procedures, and testing plan for every component.• Collaborate with the cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and rectify problems early to ensure high availabilty of system.• Configuration and planning of security system tests for tech-refresh of surveillance, IoT and network equipment. As part of the Nuclues Graduate Programme, I have undertaken software system projects with the main focus in JavaScript and SpringBoot to develop web application. Some of the key takeaways were:• Analyzing and designing robust software solutions for implementation on target technology platforms.• Utilizing design patterns to create reusable and extensible software systems.
