Responsible for the operational coordination and strategic development of internal and COTS pharmacology and ADME portfolio research applications used by 1500+ scientists across Worldwide Research & Development. My team provides development and workflow support for in vitro and in vivo data analysis from assay protocol registration through data analysis and publication to corporate data repositories. COTS applications managed include: IDBS E-Workbook (ELN and BioBook), IDBS ActivityBase, and GraphPad Prism. Established process and lead a team to manage external CRO data exchange processes for in vitro pharmacology HTS and weekly assay data. Partner with local technical resources within informatics organization and embedded in business lines to ensure needs are being met and ensure informatics roadmaps in Pharmacology and ADME lines align with business needs.

Global lead of cross-line Pharmacology Data Workflow Council, a matrixed team of pharmacology data managers and curators with the mission to create data standards for in vitro and in vivo data loading and visualization, as well as to educate users on data curation best practices for pre-clinical pharmacology data. Global technical implementation lead for enterprise-wide installation of IDBS ActivityBase to support plate-based pharmacology efforts across all research sites. Developed process with vendor to transfer data between separate installations of ActivityBase as part of an effort to increase communication and reduce cycle time between Pfizer and contract research organizations generating primary pharmacology data. Responsible for the establishment and communication of global best practice standards for the creation, validation and delivery of ActivityBase analysis templates. Work closely with business and IT groups to develop requirements for templates which are then internally developed or contracted to vendor resources. Perform standard data review and management of ORACLE databases using SQL statement executions via tools such as Toad or SQL Navigator.

Responsible for supporting the curation and management of pharmacology research data generated globally by Research Units and support lines. Support the mapping and integration of externally generated collaboration data and provide training of internal workflows as needed to colleagues. Provide formal business analysis and SME support for plate-based pharmacology software projects. Partner with business groups to analyze workflows and identify gaps in processes that can be addressed by internal or external solutions. Biology Workflow Manager - Groton Embedded Research Business Technology. Responsible for providing service delivery support and process modeling of internal biology workstreams for Groton Research Units. Using deep subject matter expertise, application portfolio knowledge, and business analysis tools, identify gaps and opportunities for increasing efficiencies within the various workflows.

Research Informatics Professional - Assist research biologists and chemists with both in-house and third-party software applications by providing basic and in-depth support. Use scientific training to provide consultancy and to develop custom solutions for existing and anticipated issues using tools such as IDBS BioBook and Scitegic Pipeline Pilot.

Scientist in the High Throughput Screening group. Responsible for developing/optimizing biochemical and cell-based assays for full compound collection screening. Wide range of assay platform experience, including scintillation proximity assay, various fluorescence methodologies (FI, FP, FRET), filtration assays, reporter gene assays and GPCR assays. Provided local support for in-house data analysis software package and worked with internal colleagues to develop custom data analysis solutions.
