Managed a $700,000 investment portfolio for the CSU Foundation that funded $47,000 in scholarships allowing first-generation college students a way to pay for an education.Responsible for researching and pitching equities and changes in equity allocations for the Financials sector of the portfolio.Investment opportunities were picked by finding undervalued equities through modeling underlying share prices via DCF and Relative Valuation set up in Excel. Financial analysis and research were conducted through the use of Bloomberg Terminals.Analyzed international events that could affect the performance of the portfolio.During the duration of my time as a fund analyst, the Summit Fund returned 3.5645% while the market returned only 2.6045% in the same period. As our goal was to try to increase portfolio Beta over this time frame, our Beta ended at around 1 resulting in an Alpha of 1% for the 2-month trading period.
