Technology is the future of the world, and I'm excited to be apart of that future as technology continues to evolve. Tech and IT have points in just about every career I've ever been interested in, including art, literature, writing, videography, gaming, film, all forms of media and entertainment. That being said, technology and its seemingly infinite span for growth is fascinating to me, and the logic stands that a career in IT would be my next choice. I have a storied history with computers, down to my previous work experience, namely in the office environment where the use of computers was regular and constant. But I would have to say that my earliest memories with computers centered around my grand father and his old desktop in his basement. I couldn't tell you the brand if I tried, I was very young, but I do remember thinking it was one of the coolest things I had ever seen. Not long after, in elementary school, was when I started actually learning how to use a computer on an old Macintosh desktop. You know, the rounder looking ones with the translucent, colored shells on the casing? Takes a guy back. The lessons were incredibly basic, mostly amounting to learning how to type and navigate to programs, but this had nowhere to go but up when it came to education, as computers were integrated more into the educational system, and research papers became a thing. I know you felt that chill down your spine too. Naturally my family got a computer of their own, and I still remember being so excited to try out some video games, especially having grown up on a Super Nintendo, but obviously, my education came first. However, it was my free time that spawned my base knowledge for computers.When the days of YouTube came around, I found an interest in making videos; filming, editing, and uploading, all of which came down to computers. Then there was art, as I've always loved drawing, soon Photoshop and digital drawing came into play, something that any digital artist can tell you is rife with troubleshooting, working drivers, updates, calibration. And then there's my time in the office, where I learned all about troubleshooting and customer service, and all the finer points that came with it, and not to mention, troubleshooting with the company applications, and helping coworkers with their own.
