I am a freelance editor and writer with an education from Grand Valley State University focused on fiction, poetry, and developmental editing. I worked on GVSU's annual Journal of the Arts, fishladder, as an editor of fiction for four years. I also did an editorial internship at Dzanc Books, where I gained hands-on experience as an editor in a professional setting.I have been writing and performing poetry since 2014, and have performed for crowds of over 500 people.In 2022, I was awarded a full scholarship to the Bear River Writer's Conference (University of Michigan), where I spent time learning from and workshopping directly with professional creators such as Victoria Chang, Richard Tillinghast, and Jaswinder Bolina.
