Led the Derek Hughes/NAPSLO Educational Foundation Board contribution to the Gamma Iota Sigma (GIS) Board of Directors, including representing NAPSLO and regularly advocating for Foundation positions. As an International Relations Intern at the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, I supported the international team in the NAIC's D.C. office. This include project support - preparing itineraries and making arrangements for meetings between NAIC staff, state insurance regulators and government officials - event support and more substantive work.I became well versed in preparing talking points, briefing binders and the logistics of interfacing and exchanging information with foreign regulators. In particular I supported the U.S. - E.U. Dialogue Project, a series of discussions between insurance regulators and government officials in the United States and Europe intended to build toward greater commonality in the international regulatory environment. I provided secondary support to several work groups, briefing members of my team on any developments, and took over administration of the project for the NAIC during my immediate supervisor's absence of several weeks.

As Volunteer Coordinator for State Senator Jolie Justus' primary campaign, recruited and administered a group of volunteers to mobilize voters in the Missouri 10th Senate District. As part of these duties I made careful schedules, tracked canvassing progress, recruited volunteers at campaign events and helped spread campaign information to voters.
