External Affairs is a creative agency for the environmental and life sciences.

I designed the curriculum for a new youth course for the Center For Architecture’s ‘Learning by Design’ program. The course challenged students to design and prototype an architectural intervention that improved the health of both community and ecosystem in Bushwick, Brooklyn. I facilitated the first iteration of the course at the Academy for Urban Planning and Engineering.

I led the curriculum development and facilitation of a youth program focused on leveraging the tools of urban design, architecture, ecology, and real-estate economics to drive community change.

In the summer of 2024 Flourish LAB merged with studio VISIT to become External Affairs, a new creative agency operating from within the environmental and life sciences.

I assisted in the design and implementation of a geo-social, digital survey tool used to map community members experiences in town. I worked with an interdisciplinary team to design and fabricate a collection of merchandise and spatial design elements that leveraged rapid, digital fabrication processes available within town.

As an intern and contracted designer, I worked with a number of Fortune 500 companies across various design and strategy projects. I conducted research and strategy development addressing emerging consumer facing robotics and POS technology for a major US retail bank client. I helped develop sustainable retail products for a global fashion brand’s in-store experience. I assisted in the industrial design and prototyping of ongoing projects for the in-house MIO furniture collection.

I worked on the design development and life-cycle assessment of physical products with industry leading clients like Procter and Gamble, Toms of Maine, Subaru. I was extensively involved in the development of a product/service system, Loop.
