I have been given the opportunity to work under a contract to United Overseas Bank. During my time there, i had the opportunity to be in two departments and it has allowed me to learn and pick up as many skills as possible. During my time there, I am able to expand my social and job circle to learn to work with as many people as possible.I further developed my leadership skills in my university life. As a current undergraduate student in NTU, i had the opportunity to be both a group leader and business manager. As a group leader, I was tasked with guiding and giving advice to the incoming freshman of the business faculty. Being able to help the incoming freshman is an important duty as it is like contributing back to the school. As a business manager, it is a step up from my previous role since it is about providing to the whole camp instead of influencing just your freshman. As a business manager, for me it is more about giving the freshman a good welcome to the business faculty and creating a memorable experience. I also picked up leadership experience in my Junior College days. During my time there, I had an exco member for my Co-Curriculum Activity (Basketball) while also embracing the role of a sports leader for the school.I have also been given the opportunity to go Outward Bound where I got to go Hong Kong. During my time there, I got the chance to lead a group of 9 other person through mountainous terrain and in sailing. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.I attended a course, preparation of financial statement to further enrich my knowledge on financial accounting. Additionally, I attended a python for business course to improve my knowledge on financial matters. Additionally, I learnt how to code and apply what I have learnt in theory and apply to practical situations.
