Some of the most successful outcomes include dynamic partnerships with national organizations, a state-wide workshop that included six universities and two university centers, and a book that expanded on the grant materials titled: Preparing your Campus for Veteran Success. Resources developed out of this grant have been used by the University of Alaska Anchorage, Central Michigan University, East Tennessee State University, The Ohio State University, Penn State University, Liberty University and the University of Wyoming. The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, who represents 35 colleges and universities and over 311,000 students and 41,680 faculty and staff, are using resources developed out of this grant. Finally, Fides materials are prominently featured on the American Council on Education’s (ACE) “Toolkit for Veteran Friendly Institutions.” The ACE member institutions serve 80% of the current U.S. college student population.
