This role allowed me to work part time as a full time student to assist graduate student researchers at the Erosion and Sediment Control Test Facility (ESCTF). During my time here, I performed tasks that required manual labor and teamwork. We worked primarily with hydro-mulch on a rainfall simulator, which consisted of a compacted dirt slope with a sprinkler system capable of simulating various amounts of rainfall. My tasks involved removal of old material, rebuilding the slope, and emptying the basin. Occasionally, there were small problem solving tasks.Teamwork was a major part of this job.
