I am a Director at McCann and Partners, a multi-discipline building services engineering practice based in South Wales, where I lead the design and project management of electrical engineering services for various sectors. I have over 19 years of experience in building services, starting as an installation contractor and working my way up to my current role. I am a Chartered Electrical Engineer, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE), a Member of the Society of Light and Lighting (MSLL), and a registered Chartered Engineer (CEng).My passion is developing young talent and promoting the profession of building services engineering. I am the Regional Chairman of CIBSE and helped establish the CIBSE South Wales Young Engineer Network (YEN). I have expertise in various software tools, such as Hevacomp, Dialux, Relux, AutoCAD, and AGI32, that enable me to design, simulate, and visualize electrical engineering solutions. I enjoy the creative and problem-solving aspects of building services engineering and I am proud of my contributions to some of the most exciting projects in Wales and London, such as the Swansea Bay Campus, Central Square Cardiff, and Leicester Square London.
