Completing a computational biology project focusing on Alzheimer’s disease. My research project focuses on identifying small molecule modulators of neuronal excitability using machine learning techniques. To predict and asses compounds with potential therapeutic effects in epilepsy -Implementing and utilizing algorithms and available datasets such as the CMAP to train a predictive model capable of screening and prioritizing compounds with potential therapeutic effects. Aiming to uncover novel small molecules modulators that can impact neuronal excitability and alleviate symptoms in Alzheimer’s and epilepsy.
