Hi! I am a freshman at Penn State with a passion for leveraging science and public policy for social good. My interests lie in STEM and public policy with particular emphasis on public health, computational biology, and neurodegenerative diseases. I aspire to utilize these disciplines to make a positive impact on society and address pressing issues. I'm passionate about leveraging emerging biotech, clinical care, and public health literacy to improve biomedical sciences and healthcare. My research experience lies in computational biology and bioinformatics, including research projects on public health and gene expression (Mobbs Lab @ Icahn School of Medicine). As a researcher, I am especially interested in using mathematical and statistical algorithms and techniques to develop solutions to biological problems in genomics, transcriptomics, and systems biology.
