I started my career in investment banking before transitioning to work with my father in his business known at the time as Bayless and Associates. I became driven to find solutions to complex problems in the healthcare industry particularly when it came to communities that would otherwise be left behind. Bayless Integrated Healthcare became a pioneer in integrating physical and behavioral healthcare as well as one of the first nationally to be designated as a Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC) accredited telehealth provider groups in 2018.Bayless Integrated Healthcare was featured on the prestigious Inc. 5000 list for the fastest growing private companies in America three years in a row (2018, 2019, and 2020) before we executed a a strategic transaction with Magellan Health Inc. (NASDAQ: MGLN), a Fortune 500 company, in December 2020. Magellan Health was subsequently acquired by Centene Corporation (NYSE: CNC), a Fortune 25 company, in January 2022 (the family business is now known as Denova Collaborative Health). I transitioned from the business shortly after the Centene- Magellan merger was finalized.I currently provide advisory services to founders, creators, entrepreneurs, and fund managers. I also serve as an Advisory Board Member to the Morgan Stanley Next Level Fund, Emmeline Ventures, as well as I am honored to be a Board Trustee at my alma mater Morehouse College.In addition, I’ve been fortunate to help establish entrepreneurship programs at the The Journey Venture Studio, Boys and Girls Club of the Valley, ElevateMed, as well as at Morehouse College. More recently, I’ve become an avid supporter of the arts with Studio Museum of Harlem, Phoenix Art Museum, ASU Art Museum, Sister Dreamer Project, Contemporary Arts Memphis and more.
