Satellite Communication (SATCOM) Electronic Warfare (EW) Technician/Instructor Subject Matter Expert (SME) to complement the 527th SAS and adequately man mobile training teams and opposition force (OPFOR) live-fire teams in support of Navy Network Warfare Command (NAVNETWARCOM) training requirements. Provides SME to SATCOM terminal operators providing Electro-Magnetic Interference (EMI) effects ISO NAVNETWARCOM exercises.• Trained and assisted 527th SAS personnel during 12 Live Fire Events on a SHF and UHF SATCOM Terminals supporting both the client as well as the host unit.• Assisted in the development and presentation of various EMI and SATCOM Refresher classes and demonstration scenarios to USN SATCOM Terminal Operators.• Contributed to the 527th SAS having 6 fully operational AN/USC-60A Flyawy Tri-Band Satellite Terminal by re-inventorying, cleaning, and servicing all required components.

Fort Carson/Afghanistan

Provided the Division Support Coordinator with subject matter expert Electronic Warfare (EW) analysis, assessments, planning, coordination, and integration and execution information for all EW operations, threat environments, and technical requirements.• Worked with the Field Support Representatives (FSR) to develop a quicker and more reliable sequence of updating the Duke V3 and V2 (type of EW Jammer) simultaneously which ultimately saved 60 minutes to the reprogramming process of the Duke system on each Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle in the Regional Command• Coordinated with Symphony FSRs to issue new systems to the Afghan Special Police Units totaling 50 new systems; facilitated and tracked which units had training and ensured training was conducted and maintained translation support was on hand• Demonstrated ability to work across war fighting functions with staff officers and NCOs from a variety of backgrounds to integrate and advocate for EW effects on the battlefield in support of Unified Land Warfare in Regional Command South

Fort Drum/ Afghanistan

Provided sound advice to the Aviation Officer concerning weapons employment, airspace management, and aviation survivability measures/ countermeasures. Also surveyed and evaluated all Helicopter Landing Zones for overall suitability. • Registered over 500 Personnel Locator Beacons and tracked 5000 Blood Chits (is a notice carried by military personnel and addressed to any civilians who may come across an armed-services member – such as a shot-down pilot) issued to organization personnel• Visited 21 Helicopter Landing Zones (HLZs) throughout the Area of Operation; equipment utilized by Pilots to identify important features and obstacles to avoid during approaches and takeoffs• Implemented a public relations slide that was emulated throughout the Regional Command, which reflected what soldiers, would do in the event of an Isolated Soldier during the brigade’s many air assault operations.
