As the Information Systems Officer at USS CARL VINSON, I am responsible for managing, maintaining, and securing the ship's computer networks and systems. I have over 14 years of experience in the US Navy as an Information Professional and an Information System Technician, where I gained extensive knowledge and skills in network administration, network security, and Linux.I am passionate about cybersecurity and ensuring the safety and integrity of our nation's critical infrastructure and information. I have earned multiple certifications from CompTIA, including Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+), Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP), and Security+. I also enjoy training and educating other sailors and personnel on cybersecurity best practices and preventive measures. I am a diligent, motivated, and decisive leader who strives to complete tasks promptly and effectively, while adhering to the highest standards of quality and safety.
