Environmental, Health And Safety Supervisor
Current• Currently working as EH&S Supervisor with other assistant supervisory roles in Supply Chain and Operations.• Working closely with the Plant Manager to update the weekly scorecard with accurate data, report missed targets to division management, produce corrective actions for AOP improvement, and working daily to learn all aspects of plant management while enhancing core leadership skills.• Supervise, coordinate work activities, and report out on daily metrics when Operations and/or Supply Chain Manager are absent. • Ensure that production schedules, output targets, safety, and quality are consistently met using the SQDIP methodology to satisfy customer requirements.• Co-responsible for physical inventory, weekly cycle counts, and ensuring inventory levels are maintained to prevent production delays.• Coordinate with Operations and/or Supply Chain Manager to identify ways to reduce cost related to poor quality, production downtime, material outages, and/or shipping delays.• Continually work with associates to learn how to operate equipment within each department, particularly in terms of newly installed backend automation. • Continually enhanced employee interactions through problem-solving, coaching, training, effective communication, and discipline when required.• Ensure that corporate AOP and safety initiatives are successfully implemented at the site level.• Proven history of lowering TRIR and LTIR via effective communication strategies and conservative care treatment while maintaining compliance with OSHA 1904.• Responsible for leading cross-functional safety teams and work groups as required.• Provide critical support to supervisory staff and focus on safety awareness, prevention, and training for all employees.• Responsible for the successful implementation and rollout of corporate policies and procedures. • Work closely with facility management to quickly identify and address potential hazard or compliance issues through Rapid Problem Solving.
