- Oversees the planning and facilitation of all resort recreational activities at a luxury, family-friendly resort, including, but not limited to: pool and waterfront areas, Fitness areas, indoor and outdoor courts, seasonal activity schedules, private tennis/pickleball lessons, rock wall climbing, history tours, and group activities.- Manages the staffing and daily operation of all recreational facilities through hiring, training, and scheduling.

The YMCA has really become a passion for me because of what it represents to the community. I've been working here for over 5 years, and I've worked in almost every department. I started in membership and learned just about everything there is to know about the Y. From there, I've adapted to whatever the YMCA needs. From training staff, to covering shifts as a lifeguard, to working on the wellness floor, to teaching a youth sports class. I consider myself a leader in the organization regardless of my title at any point in time. Now that I'm a Certified Personal Trainer, I can coach LIVESTRONG in Glens Falls and I look forward to the impact I can make.

I left Staples to be a stay-at-home dad for my son Landon. During this time I have done various freelance/independent contractor type jobs to bring in extra income and keep my skills sharp. Those jobs include being an Uber Driver, Merchandiser, Secret Shopper, and Technology Consultant.

Managed 10 Sales and Service locations for a Sprint Preferred Retailer. The 10 locations are in New York, Vermont, and Massachusetts. Interview, hire, train, and manage employees, technicians, and store managers for each location. Provided insight and training on proper operations of each location. Prepare and Lead conference calls and meetings for the whole company on a weekly and monthly basis. Manage corporate expectations of the program as they continually change and expand over time. That included making sure the planogram was correct, shelves were stocked, employees were properly dressed and properly greeting customers, etc. Set goals, developed reward programs for performance, and stressed continual improvement plans. Lead outside marketing campaign for 10 locations to bring in additional business. Manage past customer callbacks and cold calling responsibilities to keep existing customers coming back and bring in new business. Appropriately handle employee and customer escalations/retention for all 10 locations. Revamped and reorganized the entire Service & Repair program to allow for better and more profitable operations.

Sold cellular devices and accessories and managed the other salespeople in that particular location. Managed corporate expectations at a store level and focused on key metrics such as customer satisfaction, customer retention, sales per hour, and other productivity measures. Appropriately delegated duties and worked to promote from within to keep employees motivated and engaged.

I Sold and repaired cell phones for a Sprint Preferred Retail store in Queensbury, NY. Required extensive knowledge of all products including pricing, features, plans, and changing technology. Worked with the Store Manager to handle customer escalations/retention. Strived to hit all sales and service goals set by Upper Management.
