Chief Of Clinical System Integration And Business Intelligence And Analytics
CurrentSupervisor to 7 federal employees. Assigns work to subordinates based on priorities, difficulty of assignments, and the capabilities of employees; provides technical oversight; develops performance plans, evaluates work performance of subordinates, and provides recommended ratings of record; interviews candidates for subordinate positions; recommends hiring, promotion, or reassignments; takes disciplinary measures, such as warnings and reprimands; identifies developmental and training needs of employees; provides and/or arranges for needed development and training. Provides guidance and direction to Regional Health Command - Central (RHC-C)and military Treatment facility leadership and hospital staff members who are involved in conducting functional system integration, establishing and modifying health care standards and procedures, and systems implementation and improvements for automated medical information systems. Coordinates closely with technical staff regarding necessary modifications, updates, and operational problems. Develops and presents strategies needed to identify, design and implement clinical systems operations. Project responsibilities consist of the working with RCMIO and RCIO on the development, acquisition, testing, fielding and life cycle support of assigned clinical information systems, associated data communication systems and interface/integration actions and other projects as named by RHC-C, Medical Command and Military Health System (MHS). Coordinates closely with RHC-C/MEDCOM/USAMITC Information Management (IM) staff in order to guide functional requirements and oversight within the realm of clinical systems to include but not limited to clinical system architecture, information assurance, functional hardware requirements and other associated IM/IT related issues. Plans, directs, coordinates, and reviews the work of the Clinical Transformation Branch in support of the RCMIO office engaged in carrying out assigned project responsibility.
