The Sydney Harbour Federation Trust is a self-funding Corporate Commonwealth Entity created by the Australian Government responsible for vision, planning and management of a range of iconic Sydney Harbour ex Defence sites. Reporting to the CEO, the role is responsible for development of strategy, securing necessary funding from Government, securing partnerships with State and Local Government, and delivering organisational reform.Role Dimensions■ Reimagined strategic direction, through concept planning and master planning, for key sites (Cockatoo Island and North Head Sanctuary) in collaboration with stakeholders and the community;■ Driven improved commercial performance across the organisation;■ Implemented the recommendations of the Independent Review;■ Driven organisational reform;■ Lead the development of Harbour Trust Corporate Plan, budgets and Annual Report including metrics to monitor performance;■ Developed and managed funding proposals for approval by the Cth; and ■ Managed Finance, Commercial, IT and Strategy teams.

Blackdot is a boutique sales and marketing consulting firm specialising in transformation and organisational change. This practice now within the broader EY business, and continues to enable organisations to benchmark against best practice; accelerate marketing and sales transformation; and realise the benefits of the transformation through change management. Leading the Financial Services consulting practice, my role included sourcing consulting work, managing teams to profitably deliver the work, and supporting delivery of thought leadership and growth in brand awareness.

AMP Wealth Management and AMP Bank is the largest financial advice network in Australia and New Zealand with more than 4,000 aligned and employed financial advisers, managing more than $215 billion in assets for its customers. As Head of Channel Strategy my role included standing up a digital advice channel; workplace super strategy; doubling the value of the Bank; and leading the strategic planning processes across Advice, Corporate Super, Bank and Direct.

Implemented Portfolios is an asset manager currently managing >$2 billion in funds on behalf of advisers and customers. Joining the company in its infancy, responsibilities included strategy and corporate development; capital management; product development; administration platforms including Salesforce; and oversight of compliance, operations and administration.

Perpetual is a one of the largest independent asset managers based in Sydney, with operations spanning funds management, private client advice and corporate trustee. Initially responsible for the Perpetual Investments strategy function, the role transitioned to running Group Strategy through the successful Transformation 2015 program. Dimensions include the design and delivery of the Transformation program, management of strategy team and project leads, ultimately delivering $50m of annualised savings and a pathway from "fix" to "grow". Within Perpetual Investments the Head of Strategy role encompassed product launch and closure, fund manager succession, manager outsourcing, and the normal strategic planning cycle.

AMP Capital Investors is the asset management division of AMP Group, managing more than $215 billion in assets. The role spanned the Fixed Income, Infrastructure and AMPCI strategy teams, leading the strategic planning process for the Fixed Income business, reviewing the attractiveness of the global Timber industry for the Infrastructure business, and playing a key role alongside Booz Allen undertaking analysis of global market trends and opportunities for investment managers, and “deep dive” on Japanese market product opportunities.

IAG is a large multi-national general insurance company headquartered in Sydney. It has operations in Australia and New Zealand, UK and five countries in Asia. Initially responsible for Group Valuations in Sydney, the role transitioned to lead M&A activity in the UK business, with end to end responsibility for all transactions – including market research, target identification, valuation, structure, negotiating term sheets, executing final agreements, and facilitating realization of the 100 day plan and other on-boarding initiatives.

Initially a graduate with Origin Energy, the role transitioned to leading LPG operations in Queensland, then managing LPG supply nationally, culminating as Chief Operating Officer of the LPG joint venture with Caltex Australia. The role then transitioned into Caltex Australia as Strategy Manager through a tremendous period of growth and change with the local refiner.
