Ever since I was a child, I have been interested in protecting and nurturing the world around me. I loved being outside, no matter what the environment or conditions were. As I got older, I started to witness my local environment degrade and compelled me further to make change and eventually led me to pursue a career in Environmental and sustainability. I first attended Northern Virginia Community College and attained an associate degree in political science as they did not have an environmental program. After graduating, I transferred to George Mason University where I am studying for a BA in Enviromental and Sustainability with a concentration in policy and economics. Once I graduate this upcoming spring, I hope to bring the knowledge and experiences I've learned dealing with the policy making process, writing lab reports, research papers, conducting lab experiments etc., to a motivated employer. I work great with others and look forward to making a positive change in our environment for future generations to come.
