As the Director of Information Technology, I was responsible for hiring and managing all IT related staff and systems across all companies owned and operated by AMRG, which at the time was the largest air ambulance company in the western United States with over half a dozen brands with operations in more than fifty locations. I worked directly with the c-level executives and other members of senior management to identify and implement new technologies and software solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs. I oversaw the development team to create and implement in-house developed software tools to bridge the gaps in our third party software solutions. I also helped the company prepare for and navigate acquisition.

As a Senior Software Engineer on the core platform team , I worked with product managers, designers, and data engineers to identity and build new features as well as improve performance of existing code. I worked primarily with Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Javascript, and PostgreSQL.

Worked on the web applications development team as a full-stack developer building and maintaining customer facing applications using Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Javascript, JQuery, PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB. I also built restful api services, and libraries for interacting with these services.

As a full-stack software developer, I worked on a team responsible for identifying, planning, and building an internal application that was critical to the core operations of the company. Development was primarily Ruby, Ruby on Rails, Javascript/Coffeescript, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis. I was also responsible for helping build and maintain the company's public facing websites, and I was heavily involved in devops.

Responsible for hiring, training, and managing of all IT support and administrative staff for all companies and locations that are owned & operated by AMRG across the western US, including Hawaii and Alaska. I oversaw the design, deployment, and ongoing management of all aspects of IT services for all companies that are owned & operated by AMRG. This includes all workstation computers, servers, software, phones systems, network infrastructure, time clocks, printers, copiers, video conferencing equipment, websites, and physical security (video surveillance, alarm systems, electronic access control systems), and in house software solutions. I oversaw the design, implementation, and ongoing management of the equipment used in their 24 hour communications center, including ensuring high availability of services in emergency situations such as power loss, natural disasters, equipment failure, and emergency re-location. I also supervised facility maintenance personnel responsible for maintenance and repair at the corporate office in South Jordan, UT.

I worked as an aircraft mechanic responsible for helping maintain a fleet of King Air C90 aircraft.

I worked as an independent contractor for Smartech performing warranty related service/repairs for companies such as Dell, HP, Gateway, and Compaq. This job included traveling to customers homes and businesses to perform computer hardware repairs, troubleshooting, virus/malware removal, and Operating System/software installation.

I worked at the College of Eastern Utah in the bookstore as part of a work experience program offered at my High School. The duties of this job included inventory management, sales, and customer service.

I worked at Subway as the night shift manager while attending High School in Blanding, Utah. The responsibilities for this job included: working with the head manager to create a schedule for all employees, training newly hired employees, inventory management, and working regular shifts performing the regular functions of a Subway employee.
