Upon joining Google in a Desktop Support and Systems Administration role in 2006, I began developing software to streamline internal IT support. In 2008, I co-founded a dedicated Software Engineering team focusing on development of full-stack applications and infrastructure to facilitate Desktop Support, Systems Administration, and Enterprise IT Security of Google's corporate fleet of devices. I was the sole Tech Lead / Manager of this team, growing it from 6 to 25 engineers, until hiring 2 other managers in mid-2015. The org is grew to over 85 engineers with over 10 managers. In 2022, the team narrowed focus to endpoint device security, and I shifted from the Engineering Manager of this organization to it's Uber Tech Lead (UTL), a position I hold to date.Example custom-built solutions:* Homegrown ETL pipeline and data warehouse of corporate device data, correlating over 20 sparse data sources.
