Built, launched, and operated one of the world's first dockless bikeshare systems at four universities in three states, with a team of 6. Responsible for all engineering and product development: custom IoT bike lock hardware, mobile apps, backend, and admin/analytics tooling.

Guided executive team through product development process, with goal of finding a viable business model for products capturing the firm's consulting expertise. Introduced the firm to various lean concepts: business model canvas, problem interviews, innovation accounting, and split testng.Led the design and prototyping of a Docker-based, Heroku-like hosting platform for NASA.

Led the team responsible for CustomInk's web-based t-shirt design tool. Our work contributed about 1/8th of the company's ~400% overall revenue growth over a 3-year period. Consciously fostered an environment where each member of my team earned the company's annual "Innovation" Award (1 award, 1000 Inkers), and/or was promoted to a leadership role.I learned a ton about leadership in this role, and am eternally grateful to my colleagues here for giving me room to grow.

Member of the core engineering team for Netuitive's flagship application performance monitoring product. Enabled single sign-on, multi-instance installations, and personally built the company's IBM Tivoli integration, which enabled compatibility with about 33% of the enterprise APM market (at the time).

Delivered a host of new features and small side-products for the Wireless Telecommunications Bureau's Spectrum Auctions and Licensing Systems as part of the Computech team. This was during the time of the historic 700MHz spectrum auction, which paved the way for 4G/LTE cellular service in the United States. Introduced Scrum, Google Apps, Git, and a host of other technologies to the team, and won the company's annual "Above and Beyond" award for doing so.

Designed and built visualization tools to support ML-based genetic module discovery research at Virginia Tech's Computational Bioinformatics and Bioimaging Lab (CBIL). Published and presented this work in 2006 at the 19th International Conference on Computer Applications in Industry and Engineering.
