I am a highly motivated, curious, and adaptable person. I enjoy learning and pushing myself to try new ventures and explore opportunities. I have recently set up a small business designing bespoke cycling routes for customers looking to explore and maximise their downtime. I also tutor students science up to GCSE level.Before the pandemic I was the Snow Sports Director of Niseko Black, a high end ski school and concierge provider in Japan. I was responsible for maintaining workloads and motivation levels of over 40 instructors, building and maintaining relationships with agents around resort, product development, recruitment, market analysis, future planning and strategy, as well as teaching and guiding clients into the backcountry. Furthermore I was responsible for training and maintaining/improving standards of the instructors. I enjoyed the challenge and pressures associated with this type of job role and felt I performed well, helping to deliver Niseko Black’s most successful winter season to date.Returning back to the UK I took up a role as an Academic Mentor supporting vulnerable students and those without access to resources when not in school. I was working in a school running catch up lessons, assisting with practicals and exams, as well as some extra curricular actvities.I have a lot of experience of working abroad, in different cultures and languages, reacting to constantly changing situations, having to solve problems quickly and efficiently in stressful situations.I am a keen sportsman and bring this drive and the ability to function well as part of a team to my roles.
