I founded ViệtMỹ Capital in January of 2019 to provide venture capital and advisory services to an expanding group of startups and scaling businesses in Vietnam. Capitalizing on a favorable economic climate, there has been an explosion of startups in Vietnam, especially in Saigon/HCMC. ViệtMỹ Capital was formed to provide both venture capital and advisory services to this growing community.

Charter has created an approach to generating high ROI through the innovative application of a focused team of software developers. This team, called Workshop, identifies projects across charter that can generate substantial positive impact to Charter (through financial returns, product innovation, or IP development) and applies modern software development techniques to deliver the project. Founded and ran AniWorld, Inc. Initially an educational software development company (published titles include Jumpstart Baby, Jumpstart 1st Grade, Jumpstart 3rd Grade). Moved exclusively to custom software development primarily on the Microsoft platform in 1998. Later entered the Primavera integration market, and became the premiere integrator of Primavera Expedition to financial systems such as JD Edwards, Timberline, MRI, and Peoplesoft. Sold AniWorld to ITresources on July 1, 2005.

Consultant for Century Computing, working with the National Institutes of Health's National Library of Medicine on Internet research. Job involved developing and implementing strategies for persistent connections in a disconnected protocol as well as other early Internet research. Development platforms included Unix (Solaris), Windows, and Macintosh.

Worked as a researcher in High Energy Physics. Job included building Monte Carlo simulations of high energy atomic particle collisions (primarily muon scattering) as well as direct accelerator experiment and beam work at both Fermi National Lab and Brookhaven National Lab. Job required both hardware and software development, self directed research, and academic public talks and publications.
