Key achievements:• Designed and implemented multiple forecasting models for Adult Social Care - including internal forecast of complex £140M spend within 0.2% and forecast of health funding for an external funder.o Fully profiled forecast model combining core theoretical modelling and flexible adjustments.o Monthly model reconciliation with actual spend to ensure model is both accurate and responsive.• Designed and implemented staff budget-setting process for cost of 10,000 staff: I defined queries from the HR staff database, delivered a 100% authorised £200M staff budget within agreed timescales and brought consistency, clarity and efficiency to a previously piecemeal finance process.• Integration of datasets incorporating financial and non-financial data to provide meaning-rich analysis relating activity and finance which are far more valuable than separate datasets.• Designed, standardised, and implemented a range of processes including: Moving inconsistent Excel recording of mental health funding onto a database and streamlined the recording and reporting process - lead to proposed changes of up to £500K increased income; I identified £1M of ad hoc invoice transactions, engaged all relevant parties and pushed these into standard database processes.• Created dynamic team knowledgebase and trained staff in its use. The knowledgebase provides:o searchable documentation of team processes.o pragmatic audit trail for regular processes.o knowledge capture and sharing.o a solution to knowledge transfer issues when staff members move.• End-to-end testing of payment system (ContrOCC) and interface with finance system (ABW).
