As the CEO of Somerset Community Foundation I am committed to using philanthropy to drive lasting social change in our local communities through strategic leadership, innovative programmes, and inclusive community engagement.I believe in the power of collaboration to address complex social challenges. Since 2005 I have fostered relationships with community and business leaders, donors and funders, charities and social enterprises, and public sector colleagues to build more equitable, thriving, and resilient communities in Somerset.Today, the Somerset Community Foundation manages a grants and social investment programme worth over £4million annually, supported by a skilled and committed team and a strong board of trustees working with a clear and shared mission.I am also a Deputy Lieutenant in Somerset and a trustee of the Nelson Trust. I was awarded an OBE in 2022 for services to the community of Somerset
