Technical lead on a team of 10 transition officers, two Quality officers and a team leader to migrate 3600+ units from Swinburne’s LMS (Blackboard) to a new LMS (Canvas)

Was the first person employed by the transforming learning implementation project at Swinburne university to begin the migration from Blackboard to Canvas:• Developed and implemented the original training for all additional hires on the project;o Personally trained over 20 individuals, including team leaders, technical leads and quality officerso Developed training resources to support the training of multiple individuals at once• Developed and tested the original transition strategy and supporting documentation to ensure an efficient and professional procedures for all stages of transition• Hosting engagement session with conveners to gather transition requirements.• Assisted with the integration of LTI’s into the new LMS by collaborating with both I.T and the learning transformation unit.• Successfully completed the trial phase of the transition project (100 units), began preparations to begin the transition of the whole university (3600 units)• Was promoted to a technical lead on a team of 10 transition officers, two quality officers and team leader

Maintained all elements of the LMS (Blackboard) for Swinburne PAVE under the Learning Innovations Team, including;• Interface configuration• User documentation• Maintenance and resolution of issues• Developed a knowledge of adult learning principles, facilitation and ELearning Design.• Managed LMS admin tasks:o Registering userso Designing content layoutso Organization of content & creation of templates• Created new courses in Blackboard, through the use of UX/UI design, adobe design suite and articulate 360 to develop content.• Managed processes involved in running professional development (PD) session provided to teachers.• Managed enrolments and systems using ELMO• Created vast documentation and reports to cost the Canvas project for PAVE, which were presented to the department director Pauline Farrell.• Trained Conveners in advanced use of Blackboard.• Attended conferences on ELearning and blended learning solutions.• Worked within the constraints of the PAVE compliance requirements.
