I bridged the gap between BYU Tickets marketing and our client's goals. I worked with BYU Athletics, BYU Arts, BYU Cougar Club, BYU Alumni, and America's Freedom Festival to advertise events held on BYU campus hosted by my department, BYU Special Events. I managed all email campaigns and nurture flows, including implementing designs, content and A-B testing. I was the point person for retargeting ad campaigns and personalized websites for ticket purchasing. I analyzed ticketing data to determine next marketing steps to drive ticket sales. I setup the student ticketing for athletic events and the delivery process. I managed the byutickets.com website and all web tracking scripts for BYU Tickets. I used Paciolan Ticketing software, Adobe Campaign, and Salesforce to provide digital marketing services to BYU events. I created online and printed marketing material for BYU Tickets.

I performed the setup and configuring of events for BYU Athletic and Arts events using Paciolan Ticketing software. My goal was to make sure all events were built online and ready for on sales. I managed the email system and assisted other BYU departments that used the email system. I led the season ticket process for BYU Men's Basketball using Ballena Technologies. I built and maintained the ticketing setup for BYU sports including: Women's Soccer, Women's Volleyball, Men's Volleyball, Women's Basketball, Baseball, Softball, and Gymnastics by managing schedules and event set-up procedures. I was in charge of training of all new employees on all office procedures and assisted them in the process of advancement in the ticket office. I helped to update our website to keep the most current information and ticket sales available to fans.

Sundance, Utah

I oversaw a Halloween themed lift ride at Sundance Resort. I worked with a team to design sets beneath the chair lift line. I sketched up costumes and worked with a seamstress to make costumes for each scene. My team helped to create event awareness by flyers, billboards, event info booths, news appearances, social media posts, and ticket deals with local entities to promote the rides. I hired all the actors and setup crew members and managed their time. I supported the nightly event crew and was able to quickly troubleshoot any problems that arose with the event crew, lift operations, ticket sales, safety and dining outlets. Each night of the performance, I also was the makeup artist for the actors to help them get into character.

I oversaw the retail of soft goods at Sundance Mountain Outfitters. I generated purchasing orders, received product, produced invoices, and performed physical inventories using Yellowdog retail inventory management software. I maintained relationships, resolved issues, and negotiated with vendors to bring in the best product into the shop. I reviewed and analyzed weekly sales reports to monitor costs, service levels, and inventory levels as and make adjustments as needed. I traveled to attend new product line showings and trade shows to survey the latest products in the industry. I trained and supported shop staff on the retail procedures and daily job tasks. I conducted seasonal employee reviews for shop employees to evaluate their job performance and assisted employees to set goals to increase productivity in the shop. I designed eye-catching retail displays for the shop's decor and ambiance.

I updated daily sales report spreadsheet for each event to determine profitability and emailed to the resort directors each day. In order to create an efficient pick up experience for customers I streamlined the ticket will call process. My objective was to create positive relationships with guests, maintaining positive return rate for all future events. At the completion of my internship, I designed a new training manual for box office employees that included step by step instructions on office procedures.

I supervised athletic and arts events and led a team of ticket clerks. I helped in the day-to-day ticket office procedures. One of my key responsibilities was managing the Women's Basketball games. During the games I oversaw the player guest ticket distribution and supervised ticket clerks. I assisted customers with their ticket buying experience and problem solved ticketing issues.
