In addition to prior duties as Director, I was involved heavily with securing vendors to provide cost effective and appropriate coverage for the hotels. This included vendors in both property and health insurance, as well as vendors that provided goods and services to the hotel. Over the course of my time with MARS, promoted nearly 15 individuals to General Manager rolls from within the company. Opened two hotels included a boutique property with three Food and Beverage outlets.

Managed the Human Resources and Operational departments of a hotel management company that ranged from 5-13 hotels across four states. Responsible for ensuring that General Managers for following hotel standards, MARS policies and procedures, and any local/state/federal requirements for team members.Implemented procedures to reduce payroll costs, track employee performance, and evaluate fairly and consistently.Worked directly with GM's to ensure that they had adequate staffing as well as finding talent within the company for internal promotions.

I was responsible for the training coordination and logistics of events that were held on-site at our corporate world headquarters. I was the primary contact for all of the intranet updating. I also assisted HR and Benefits department prior to accepting a promotion to HR Generalist.

I worked on small projects ranging from $5,000 - $50,000. I was responsible for making sure all factors were included in my bid to the contractor and calculating any additional change orders. I was also the primary office coordinator for larger projects including completing job folders, material ordering, and in some cases delivery and install of product.

I began work with the Central Dispatch team as a dispatch Coordinator. Working with independent contractors to confirm trips, load and delivery dates via HHG management system. I was promoted 8 months later to Short Haul Dispatcher in Region 1 becoming the youngest person to hold that position. I worked with a fleet of 20-30 drivers and was responsible for planning effective and profit generating trips to both driver and company. I maintained +99% of on-time pick up and deliveries of HHG shipments.
