I depicted 2 different patient cases, using my acting skills to deliver appropriate and believable verbal and physical responses to the medical student being tested. I also scored the students on the interaction, using my recall of cued checklist responses and physical exam maneuvers.

I began my career with the Commission by coordinating the start of each exam and controlling the flow of information between actors portraying patients and administrative staff to ensure quality recording of the patient encounter. This included communicating with all staff and students involved in the live exam, including proctors, standardized patients, trainer on duty and administrators. I also monitored and changed camera angles in real time to capture the exam as accurately as possible and to record standardized patient infractions and for quality assurance purposes.
