Key Contributions: • Designed, implemented, and manage 4 EMC Isilon (OneFS) clusters encompassing 2.8PB of storage. • Implemented cloud storage for backup and archive via AWS and Azure to meet long term retention and international regulatory requirements. • Consolidated 9 different backup solutions into a single enterprise wide Commvault environment.• Manage and maintain Commvault environment to support 2000+ systems, 40+ locations, and 300,000 backup jobs per month. • Provide technical expertise to various departments for disaster recovery design, implementation, and testing.

Responsible for the design, deployment, management, and disaster recovery of all systems. Key Contributions: • Leading initiative to migrate all systems at the corporate data center to new network infrastructure which includes IP address changes and designing standards for 10GB connectivity and multi-honed systems. • Implemented the Cisco Nexus 1000v for the vSphere environment in conjunction with the infrastructure team. • Designed and deployed 2 additional UCS domains, increasing reliability, performance, and capacity of the vSphere environment. • Developing standards, processes and performing implementation to migrate all SAP/Oracle systems from CA Arcserve to CommVault Simpana 10. • Upgraded CommVault Simpana 9 to 10 with no impact to disaster recovery operations. In process of implementing Simpana OnePass for file level archiving and Intellisnap for vSphere protection.

Lead engineer responsible for all aspects of the global server environment including purchasing, deployment, management, monitoring, support, and disaster recovery. Key Contributions: • Designed and implemented a global backup solution (CommVault Simpana), consolidating all non-SAP systems into a single scalable environment rather than the five different backup solutions previously used. Once implemented this solution provided improved reliability, recoverability and, decreased management. • Served as onsite systems lead during the integration of a $1.2 Billion acquisition. The six site migration was completed in less than 8 weeks with minimal impact to the business. The migration included reverse engineering and performing on the fly migrations of legacy applications and developing new deployment methodologies to support wireless RF devices in 4 distributioncenters. • Migrated 3 legacy AIX servers acquired to the corporate datacenter. 20+ production Oracle databases and applications were migrated with no business impact. • Automated PC migration process to migrate over 400 PCs. This automation decreased the migration time from 3 man hours per machine to less than 30 total minutes.

Provided day to day support of server and systems environment. Primary responsibilities included provisioning, deploying new physical and virtual servers, and support/maintenance of existing servers. Other responsibilities included maintaining the systems monitoring environment and managing server backups.

Key Contributions: • Designed and deployed Manhattan WMOS implementation for multiple distribution centers supporting 10 million square feet of product distribution. • Integrated warehouse management systems with labor management, performance management, slotting optimization, and SAP services. • Served as single point of contact for all technical aspects of Manhattan WMOS and warehouse technologies including RF devices, printers, and PCs.
