I am a Petroleum Engineering graduate from Santa Catarina State University, where I honed my technical skills in Python, MATLAB, and Excel VBA, alongside developing the analytical abilities essential for solving complex problems in the engineering and oil & gas industry.My journey began in 2017 when I actively engaged in extracurricular activities at the university. These experiences, particularly with Núcleo Extensionista Rondon, enhanced my communication and teamwork skills. In 2020, I joined the SMART Research Group, where I was awarded a scholarship and initiated my research on the Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) method: Low Salinity Water Flooding (LSWF). This work culminated in an article I published and presented at an online congress.During the same year, I developed a MATLAB code that simulates offshore oil production, generating IPR curves, PVT curves, Pressure and Temperature curves, and analyzing the performance of the system's choke and gas lift valves. This project led to co-authoring three articles with my colleagues from the Lift Methods class.My involvement with the UDESC SPE Student Chapter began in 2020 as the Petrobowl Officer, where I participated in the qualifying games of the Regional Petrobowl. The following year, I was elected to the Board of Directors, serving as President for one year.In the final year of my undergraduate studies, I interned at Navship, part of the Edison Chouest Offshore Group. This experience gave me a comprehensive understanding of vessel construction processes and the various systems that ensure operational integrity, all by regulatory standards.For my Bachelor's thesis, I revisited my earlier research, taking a different approach by constructing a unidimensional reservoir model and importing two benchmark tests to simulate the application of Waterflooding and LSWF.Currently, I am working as a Technical Assistant at Aker Solutions, collaborating closely with the Floating Systems Integrity Engineers on BP assets in the Gulf of Mexico. My role involves generating anomaly reports, notifications, and maintenance orders and contributing to risk analysis using digital twin technology. I recently graduated with a Master of Science in Project Management from the University of the Cumberlands, further strengthening my ability to lead and execute complex projects in the energy sector.
