• Coordinating a three-year research project spanning four continents and whose budget was about 250,000 €.• Collecting 64 invertebrate samples in Romania, Azerbaijan, Ukraine, France and Russia.• Joining a one-month ornithological expedition on the Yamal Peninsula, where I gave two interviews.• Lab work: 358 microscopic photographies, 17 dissections, 229 DNA isolations, two internal primers designed, 50 PCRs, 50 agarose gel electrophoreses, 114 DNA sequences deposited on GenBank.• Data preparation, data integration and data wrangling.• Running molecular phylogenetic analysis (e.g., Bayesian Inference).• Two-month internship in ecological modelling at the Naturalis Biodiversity Centre (Netherlands).• Publishing my data in the UGSB, on the Pontocaspian taxonomic platform and on GenBank.• Sharing my findings in two peer-reviewed papers and during six international conferences (two of which I organised).• Contributing to an outreach policy plan in collaboration with WWF Ukraine to raise public awareness of the biodiversity demise in the Danube Delta (1,100 leaflets distributed in Romania, Russia and Ukraine).• Organising one and attending 13 practical and theoretical trainings in Biology, Geology and Modelling spanning three continents.• Being elected to represent 14 other EU researchers.• Gaining 18 certifications.• Being mentioned in Salomon Kroonenberg's book: 'Kantelpunt - Hoe de grootste binnenzee op aarde zijn biodiversiteit verloor'.
