The objective of this position at Disney was to communicate the company vision to newly hired cast members (empolyees) and equip them with the basic tools needed for their first day on the job. This objective was accomplished through several days of classroom trainings and a 4 hour behind-the-scenes overview tour of the Disneyland Park. I was responsible for a thorough understanding of the company philosophy; having the ability to explain it in understandable terms; and instilling a sense of pride and ownership in each new employee. In this role, I presented large amounts of information to both large and small groups of people spanning a large range in age and demographic, and facilitated a classroom which encouraged discussion and problem solving.
