L & T Explored the option of getting into Telecom Business and a core team was formed for Developing the Busines plan and strategy. I was incharge of Locating and liasoning with strategic and alliance Partners for this Venture. During this period, I interacted with all the then Major Telecom players, Regulatory authorities and major Telecom network Users

This is a Profit centre Head Position.During this :L&T entered the electronic Energy Metering Business and went on to become one of the major players in this Market.During this Period L:&T successfully, established their fully indegenously developed product in the market.
