I've been a media producer for more than a decade, and a studio manager for about 6 years before that. I started at the lowest rung and learned everything possible, going from turning a know to running newscast. That took me from Georgia to Alaska, and I loved it, but... After my station was purchased toward the end of 2020, and everyone was laid off, I took time off to finish up a degree in 2021. Now I'm for a new challenge.Over the years I've made some tiny games, contributed a gaming news podcast, contributed to an independent comic, made a couple of film fan edits, and other media projects. It's been fun to play with so many different mediums, and I'm interested in moving my career away from journalism.
