Engineering Consulting (HVAC) Division of BCH Mechanical, Inc.* Coordinate HVAC design projects beginning in the marketing stages, continuing through design development and generation of construction documents and finishing with construction phase administration.* Coordinate marketing efforts through preliminary investigation of project conditions, client design preferences and project schedule/budget; delivering presentations to prospective clients, and generating proposals to provide engineering services.* Coordinate/Oversee/Complete design efforts through detailed site investigation, computer generated HVAC load calculations, HVAC equipment selections, client meetings and correspondence to review proposed designs, coordination of mechanical drawings and specifications in accordance with all applicable codes and standards and complete construction cost estimates.* Manage bid and construction phase efforts through addendum processing, site meetings with contractors, submittal reviews, site inspections to ensure construction implementation in accordance with design documents, issuance of site visit reports, substantial and final completion inspections, controls validation, generation of punchlist items requiring contractor follow-up and HVAC system monitoring.* Complete HVAC evaluations identifying building system deficiencies and indoor air quality concerns due to improper design and/or construction; recommend options and estimated construction costs to client for resolution of deficiencies.
