Built custom millwork solutions to fulfill customer orders. Set-up and operated a 5 head, computer assisted molder to make molding, baseboard and other trim. Built custom designed PVC and wood windows. Assisted in the assembly of custom designed wood doors and built-in cabinets.

Responsible for the direction of a team of 26 product and packaging engineers, located in Atlanta, Georgia and China, in support of sourcing and direct import activities and private brand strategies. Activities included development of product test plans, management of product qualification testing and input to corrective action plans and product improvements as well as development of product performance specifications. Direct import and private brand products represented approximately 4000 individual SKUs per year and annual retail sales of approximately $10B.* Improved product qualification testing process to help reduce product on-boarding cycle time from 125 days to 65 days, improving speed to market.* Introduced new packaging requirements to reduce product damage and improve in-store appearance.
