This was the first time for me to work with a group of students with greater numbers from different parts of the world. Due to culture differences it was hard for many students to understand each other and to adjust to Fijian life style. As a tutor and a leader at the workplace, I learnt as to how to effectively communicate with students to help in bridging the culture gap while working ethically.

As some one who didn't like travelling, I developed willingness to broaden my horizon and started travelling to locations to conduct research or collect samples. When I started working, the company had two other different contractors and as part of my job description I was assign to improve the quality standard of the products across all the contractors.
