Keeping a track for class related operational needs .Looking after dry docking of vessels as and when vessel docking required.Maintaining technical spares for vessels keeping in mind the operational needs.

giving technical advice to owners, taking care of all technical equipments for their operational availability. Time to time maintenance of all equipments for enhancing the life of the units. Giving expertise guidance to the owners for new induction of equipments. Training and guidance to the technical team and to lead the entire technical manpower from the front. Tackle and handle any critical situation .

Was the incharge for the mechanical work pertaining to refits of vessels . Responsible for timely completion of job for undocking. To finish the mechanical works in due time and to carry out trials of repaired machinery/ equipments. Responsible for day to day activities of workshop. Manpower handling for particular projects.Maintaing reports regarding work undertaken, work done to be prepared and get it signed with concern dept. heads of vessel and prepair invoice on completion of work done.

1) Responsible for machinery operational status at all time, keep vessel for sea worthy.2) Accountable for all engine room personnel and to make them trained for any eventuality at sea.3) training , directing and coordinating engine room staffs for all sorts of jobs pertaining to machinery upkeep . 4) Responsible for good engineering practices and better machinery hygiene.5) Responsible for maintaining all running logs and E maps for equipments.6) To maintain better inter and intra personnel relations .7) Carry out routine maintenance for all equipments in Engine Room as well as in Out machinery spaces.8) Responsible for imparting training for fire and safety , including damage control on board vessel on a day to day basis.9) Keep a track for dry docking for annual maintenance of under water units and their service.10 ) Inform command and vessel captain for timely refits to keep equipments and units operational at all time.11) Responsible for man power allocation and their facilities.
